Edgartown Firemen’s Association Leaders

  • President Deputy Chief Andy Kelly

    Deputy Chief Kelly joined the Edgartown Fire Department as a member of Engine 221 in 1996. From there, he served as a Firefighter/EMT, Lieutenant of Engine 221, Assistant Fire Chief, and now holds the rank of the Deputy Fire Chief. As President of the Edgartown Fire Association, Deputy Chief Kelly’s duties are to preside over all meetings and coordinate all association events, activities, committees, museum activities, and other matters of business that arise.

  • Vice President Assistant Chief Josh Baker

    Assistant Chief Baker joined the Edgartown Fire Department as an EMT in 2011 and became member of Ladder 251 shortly after. Since then, Asst. Chief Baker has become a full time Firefighter/Paramedic, Fire Prevention Officer, and Assistant Chief of the department. As Vice President, Asst. Chief Baker’s responsibilities are to assist the President and head table with all activities, fundraising, and the planning and coordination of association events.

  • Secretary Lieutenant Brian Foster

    Lieutenant Foster joined the Edgartown Fire Department as an EMT and from there became member of Engine 222/224 in 2016. Lieutenant Foster is now a full time Firefighter/Paramedic and Lieutenant of both Brush Unit 230 and Tanker 233. As secretary, his duties are to record all meeting minutes and assist the President and Vice President in the coordination of all association events and fundraising.

  • Treasurer Senior Captain Sam Koohy

    Senior Captain Koohy joined the Edgartown Fire Department as a member of Engine 221 in 1991. Senior Captain Koohy plays a vital role in the operations of the Edgartown Fire Department, assisting with personnel, mentoring new officers, and recently Captain Koohy has taken the role of officer in charge of the Chappaquiddick Station, overseeing the crew of 5 firefighters that reside on the island off and island. As Treasurer, his duties are to oversee and maintain the finances of the EFA.
